Antique hand-made metal miner male statuette with marble or stone base. Circa 1930s-40s, based on my research. My own great grandfather was a coal miner and this is an acceptable time frame in the U.S. where I acquired it. There are both statues and lamps during the time period.   There is writing on the bottom, and it appears to have been reinforced. There is a lighter image, perhaps a date, that is too light for me to read.  The pick is a removable, separate piece. Overall, it is very good condition. Nonsmoking Seller. SKU #1739
