Time for a little "DISNEYLAND" TV nostalgia:  This particular volume in the WALT DISNEY TREASURES series holds a special set of memories in my heart, as it was the closest that the 1950s TV series "DISNEYLAND" ever ventured towards science fiction.  The first two films in this set (MAN IN SPACE and MAN AND THE MOON) were both first shown in 1955, while the third film in the trio (MARS AND BEYOND) was finally shown in 1957.  All three featured serious scientific discussions about rockets and space travel, including several fascinating animation sequences, both serious and humorous.

The fourth film is EYES IN OUTER SPACE, originally televised in 1959, and dealing largely with satellites and the study of the weather; which is followed by the film OUR FRIEND THE ATOM from 1957, using both documentary style and humorous animation to describe the make-up of molecular structures.

Finally, the last film is entitled EPCOT (from 1967), and describes what Walt Disney had envisioned for the "Florida Project," which eventually became Walt Disney World.  This film was not originally released to the public; but was intended as a "discussion piece" for the state and local legislatures in Florida in the 1960s, which had become alarmed and concerned regarding the vast swatches of real estate in the Orlando area, which Disney had been acquiring under various cover names.

Additionally, there are several additional interviews and bonus features.
