I have a number of the "Merry Co-Boy Gnomes" that hail from Coburg, Germany in Bavaria, where the Goebel company is located. They say the gnomes were conceived to bring some merriment to an otherwise rather somber town. Beautifully designed by the artist Gerhard Skrobek, these figurines are sure to make you smile, and provide a touch of color and good humor to your shelves. They make great gifts!

The tags tell each gnome's silly story in both German and English. Gnome figures are mostly based on professions and activities that existed in Coburg in the 1870s or so. A few illustrate more recent occupations.

The previous owner collected all of the Co-Boy gnomes that I have for sale, buying each one in Germany while visiting family members stationed there. One of her granddaughters held on to the collection for years, but recently let them go.

If you would like to purchase more than one figurine, please select "request total" in your cart. If that does not work for some reason, contact me so that I can create a special listing for you, with combined shipping.
