According to the Noritake Collectors Guild, the makers mark would date this spectacular plate to 1918-1921, from the Nippon Era to the Art Deco Era.
This platter is in very good condition. There are no cracks or chips but there is a pea sized "bubble"... a tiny raised spot about oe" below the basket bottom. I tried to photograph it but it's so hard to see that it doesn't show. You really have to hold it up to the light on a certain slant to see it...it's truly insignificant. Very slight utensil marks. (all reflected in price.)
