This listing is for a rucksack wire clip from World War 2.  This item came from an original 10th Mountain Division rucksack that was dated 1942.  This is the wire clip that allowed the soldier to attach the buttstock of their rifle to their rucksack while climbing.  The rucksack that it came off of was falling apart so I parted it out a long time ago and just found this recently.  This appears to be a hard to find item as only one has sold in the last three years.  I will not ship this in an envelope for fear that it might get crushed so it will be shipped in a box.  Please see the photos provided for more details as they are part of the description and also shows what is included and the condition.  Please visit our store as we have a wide variety of items for sale and we will gladly combine items to save on shipping.
