Approx. 12" wide Nigerian Hausa polychrome grain basket or bowl. Measures 3.5 inches deep. I identified this basket because it is very similar to another one I owned which had a tag. The tag on my other basket said that each is individually made by the Hausa people who collect the grasses and use the baskets for grain bowls and other tasks. It said they are also given as wedding gifts and for decoration when not in use, and that each is somewhat different in size, and design, making each one unique.. Good condition with light wear.  You can see a few strands sticking out - easy to trim and the small amount of wear is natural and doesn't affect the integrity of the basket. Buyer to pay shipping.
