Lightweight, easy on over standard running shoes. They weigh 2.5 lb (1.2 kg) for one pair of snowshoes.
Comes with snow cleats, and extra straps for sizing to different shoe sizes. The size for both myself and my wife were the same, although our weights are 35 lbs apart. But the lightness of the shoe and flexibility of the strap attachment made it easy to fit to our different sized shoes.
The new models are available also at the manufacturers store, and I certainly recommend you check them out. Our pairs are about $100 discount, but of course without the manufacturer's warranty.
These were worn for one outing in Vermont running about 5 kilometers on a backcountry trail. It all went very well, but alas we have not returned, due to life obligations, limited travel during the years of pandemic, mixed snowfall years thank you Climate Change Disbelievers, etc. so it's time for them to find a good home.
Included are Outdoor Research brand gaiters that quickly and effectively cover the tops of your running shoes. The pair of the gaiters is sized S/M (my wife's size 8 shoe). Also a large gear bag for each pair of snowshoes, to keep your gear together, with lots of room for shoes, jacket, gloves, hats, etc. It is Easton Snowshoes labeled, and is very well made.
Note in the photos a picture of a t-shirt that is NOT included in the package. It was in the web page of the company, and was too classic to not share it with you. They sell the t-shirt for $23, then shipping.
