ARTIST IN RESIDENCE: GEORG SHOOK by M. Stephen Doherty. This visit to an artist's living/working space takes us to Shook's studio/ apartment in a building on a designated historic site in Memphis.

New Jersey artists-teachers Janczuk and Bottinelli discuss the research, organization, and promotion that went into their traveling exhibition of 40 paintings based on the history of Atlantic City and their painting styles.

JOAN BAREN: THE ARTIST AS PRESERVATIONIST by Pat Van Gelder. Baren, who creates large pen-and-ink drawings of Long Island's historic buildings, discusses her techniques and the artist's role in historic preservation.

REX ROBINSON: KENTUCKY PAINTER AND HISTORIAN by Pat Van Gelder An interest in preservation led to a state commission for paintings reflecting the life-style and landscape around Owensboro for this artist.

THE WATERCOLOR PAGE: DON RANKIN. Rankin details his painting techniques and how his paintings helped raise money to restore an historic home in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

KALARSON: ARTISTS AND ACTIVISTS by Pat Van Gelder. Kalarson, a company formed by Ken Larson and two fellow graduates of Pratt Institute dedicated to raising funds for the restoration of historic buildings in New Britain, Connecticut, is discussed here along with Larson's approach to his drawing and printmaking.
