Samuel Gompers Signed 16 x 20 Inch Photo Founder American Federation of Labor AFL Autographed, with "1912. In the cause of humanity, Faithfully yours," inscription. Mr. Gompers founded and was the president of the AFL from 1886 - 1924. He died December 13, 1924. The 10.5 x 13.5 inch photo of Mr. Gompers is glued to 16 x 20 inch cardboard. The cardboard shows signs of wear around the edges and on the back due to handling and age. There are watermarks around the edges of the cardboard there are a few marks within the photo. Refer to photos. Good condition for the age. Please excuse the glare from the lights. Smoke free and pet free environment. This would be a unique and great addition to any collection!
