chau0616  A stunning 8" x 5" original hand signed photo for Bonny Holmes who who has personally autographed the souvenir where her signature rests perfectly accompanying her portrait in mint condition.

Bonny Holmes originally comes from Kentucky, steeped in country and bluegrass music growing up, until she discovered Bob Dylan and all the other great writers of the day and started writing her own songs and performing. Her first band in Louisville, Ky. was "Body and Soul", Holmes played keyboards and sang R&B and vintage soul music. Five years in New York City in the mid-80's brought Holmes back to her country roots with the band "Radio Free Rodeo". Next stop was Austin, Texas, where she currently resides, writes, and performs under her own name with an acoustic trio as well as a rocking band. Her first record, "Boxful of Trouble" was released in 2003, followed in 2008 by "Going Down Fighting". Holmes has a unique quality to her voice, with the emotional catch familiar to country music as well as the honesty found in bluegrass. Her songs revolve around good-love-gone-bad, streetlights, searching for home, bridges, and yes, horses.
