Another fantastic find from the same family estate! This true antique Edwardian Ladies walking suit was found in one of the many steamer trunks found in the family’s Victorian home!!! All the Victorian & Edwardian clothing that has been listed is from the same estate.

This Waldman Bros. walking suit is made from heavy ecru flax or hemp linen. Both the skirt and the jacket have matching fanciful art nouveau style embroidery. There are NO holes or degrading of the material. The only flaws is some foxing, mostly to the top half of the jacket. It is overall, in amazing condition in my opinion.

The suit is in a rare larger size, the skirt is clipped in the back so it would stay up on my maniquin. The skirt has pockets at the hip on each side, and hook & eye side closure.

From side seam to side seam the waist measures 17” hips:21.5”. Length from waist to hem: 31”

Jacket from arm pit to arm pit: 18”. Waist 17” the shoulder area is fairly narrow(?) See pictures for measurement. Length 31”.
