This antique platter from the Owen China Company in Minerva, Ohio, dates from 1906 to 1908. It has a pink floral pattern with embossed ribbons, a scalloped edge, and metallic gold paint around the rim. The colors include pink, green, pale blue, . The back is stamped with the maker's mark. This platter is a visually dynamic example of Victorian/Edwardian style. It is in well-loved condition with delicate crazing and faded metallic paint around the rim. None of these flaws affect the sturdiness or usefulness of the platter.
