This approx. 9 in tall vintage Walt Disney Productions  collectible coin  bank features Dumbo, the beloved flying elephant. The item is yellow and because of that  it is  a very rare (the only one I can find on internet) coin bank with a horizontal slot and chalkware designation. The horizontal slot leads me to believe from my research it may well be pre 1972. Most slots on such are vertical so this is rare.  It is perfect for any Disney fan or collector of vintage memorabilia. The brand is Walt Disney Productions and the item is an unknown manufacture. This is a must-have for any Disney fan and a great addition to any collection. Great decor for a baby's nursery or as a movie prop. Bottom velvet cover  was perhaps torn in order to retrieve the coins. Two to three small places where paint has rubbed off.
