Christie Cummins' work was in great demand in the 1990's. Her booth at the New York City Toy Fair had layers of hopeful dealers surrounding it to try to acquire one of her dolls. There was a long waiting list to acquire her work. This doll was made for a doll club event in a limited edition of 40. It is scarce, we cannot find a record of another sale of Kimmie on the secondary market.
