The beautiful figure of Telemachus stands on his chariot and is pulled by two patinated horses, at the front of the chariot is the head of a roaring lion, behind Telemachus stands Athena, the warrior goddess with her helmet and in her left hand a shield with the head of Medusa and in her right hand a spear, the chariot and horses on a rectangular base decorated at each corner with rising axe heads French clockwork movement circa 1810.
