Greek 'martakia' bracelets are made up of red and white threads. They are made to be worn from the first day of March until the end.

According to the tradition, the reason people used to wear “martaki” is that, first of all, it protects young children from the spring sun, secondly it protects from  "evil eye", it repels mosquitoes and fleas and, lastly, it protects from illnesses. In other words, “martaki” acts as a charm or as an amulet.

This bracelet is made up of different strings all held together as one bracelet. The bracelet also includes 925 sterling silver beads. These bracelets are for children and adults. And would make a lovely gift.

The width of the bracelet is 5 millimeters.

The bracelet closes with an adjustable design.

There are three options: 11.5cm for children's wrists, 14cm for regular/average wrist size and 16cm for larger wrists.
