Filter ring is in very good condition. I don't see any dents. Ring has some scratches from use. It works good. It is fully operational and functions as intended.
I would rate it an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10.
Please note that it ring has 39mm threads (it is too small for 40mm or 40.5mm). It is missing retaining ring..
