This is a really sharp pair of vintage 1970s men's slacks in a wonderful green windowpane plaid.
By Esquire Sportswear Mfg Corp, from their "Creasation" line, which has a permanent crease.
The waist measures 37".
I just LOVE the fabric on these - it's a loden green wool with a dark green and brown windowpane plaid. SO PERFECT FOR CHRISTMAS!
These slacks are beautifully tailored.
Pure Virgin Wool. The wool is high quality - soft, not scratchy.
No belt-type waist, with side tabs to adjust for fit. The tabs have buckles with prongs.
There are also textured pads (they look like leather?) inside at side seams to keep waistline secure / perfectly positioned.
Slant front pockets.
Welted back pockets. One has button closure.
Straight legs.
Sharp pressed creases, which are permanent according to the "Creasation" proprietary label inside.
In excellent vintage condition - no damage! Very nice and clean.
