- Safety & Durability: Rugged thermoplastic construction ensures that sump pump submersible will operate in water temperatures up to 95°F and is less susceptible to mechanical failure, even in harsh conditions. An automatic thermal overload protector and highly corrosion-resistant impeller are included, which not only automatically adjusts speed and fluid viscosity, but also prevents damage to the utility pump from excessive internal temperatures, extending the life of the sump pump.
- Automatic Float Switch: The float switch will activate when the water level reaches 20 inches; the float switch will automatically close when the water level is 5 inches. (The degree of water depth required to turn the switch on or off is determined by the size of the area in which it will be used.) The sump pump is equipped with a float switch to detect the level of liquid in the tank or container. The switch floats on top of or inside the liquid and acts like a mechanical switch when the level rises or falls.
