Lumber jacks in Brazil and Peru who came in contact with local tribes learned that Jatoba was an important tree for the indigenous people who made a tasty energizing tea form its inner bark. Especially useful during a day of hard work because the tea gives an uplifting*, reinvigorated sensation* and famously adds flexibility to sore muscles.* Our extracts can provide invigorating properties when added to water or juice. Today, Jatoba trees are replanted to restore degraded lands and are popular for making fine furniture. Its wood has a deep red hue and is naturally resistant to decay. You can find Jatoba trees many years after they have fallen to the rainforest floor still durable. In Peru the trees are often called Azucar Huayo-- attesting to the sweetness of the tea-- and since they are very slow to decay they are often cut into boards and used as steps placed directly on wet mud pathways where they last for years. Jatoba also produces a large seed pod with a small amount of pulp fruit that can be eaten or added to creams and lotions as they are rich in phytonutrients. INGREDIENTS: Distilled Water, 100% Jatoba bark (Hymenaea courbaril). SUGGESTED DIRECTIONS: Use 10-15 drops once or twice a day in water or as recommended by a health care practitioner.

Returns

You may return most new, unopened, items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Nutritional and personal care items must always be returned with the seal unbroken in order to be refundable.
If the return is due to our error (for example, you received an incorrect item) we will also pay for the return shipping costs. Please contact us to request a return so that we can help with the process and provide return authorizations. We ask that customers needing to make a return do not refuse parcels. It is best to accept delivery and ask for return instructions.
