A 4 page Antoine's 1840-1940 Centennial Menu. Located on Rue St Louis in New Orleans Louisiana 1950's. On this Centennial Menu the minimum charge per person was $3.00. Entrees ranged in price from $2.25 for Fois de Volaille `a la Brochette to $12.00 for Chateaubriand. The menu is in fine condition. This style menu cover first came out in 1940 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Antoine's, one of New Orleans most famous and celebrated restaurants. This menu cover was used for decades and can only be dated by the prices in the menu. The 1940's menus had a minimum service of $1.00 and this moved gradually over the years in 50 cent and dollar increments to $8.00. This menu has a minimum of $3.00, dating it to about the 1960's.. ;Included in this lot is a 20 page Souvenir of Restaurant Antoine's booklet.
