Kewpie Doll 1997 by Lee Middleton "Almost Angelic"

12" doll w/ Tag. This angel kewpie was made by Lee Middleton in 1997. 

She is 12" tall with golden color wings wearing a white dress and panty and holding her halo in her hand hence "almost angelic" She is dressed in her original outfit with her halo and hang tag.

She has her original box and a COA.

The Kewpie image was first conceived in a Dream, as an Elf, by Rose O'Neill. By December 1909, this image was drawn and published in a leading magazine, Kewpie was brought to life in 1912 by sculptor, Joseph Kallus working as Rose's assistant.

Comes with original box, tissue and COA. Box has a few blemishes.
