This item is approximately (60) 6mm Hematite Round Beads temporarily strung on monofilament line.

These beads are great for making necklaces, bracelets, earrings and more.

Note:  These beads may be Hematite, Hemalyke, Hemalike or Hematine.  We can't tell the difference and we doubt others can either.  They are often sold to us as Hematite with the same disclosure.  Here is a little more info:

 

Hemalyke or Hemalike is a synthetic hematite that is made by grinding up hematite adding a biner (glue) and then press-molding it. . Hemalyke looks very much like natural hematite - it is hard to them apart.

Hematine is an artificial version of Hematite.  Hematine is widely used in jewelry. Hematine is a recent trade term for a synthetic replicate and is also known by some as hematite pseudomorphous after magnetite.
