Vintage Steuben Baluster Stem Water Glass 7877, 6 1/2" Tall Set of 2.

This pattern was introduced by Steuben Glass of Corning, New York in 1940. It is reminiscent of 18th Century glass typical of that used in Colonial Williamsburg. It feature a baluster knob stem with a captured bubble and was designed by George Thompson. Please measure yours for an exact match. The goblet is in excellent pre-owned condition. There are no chips, cracks, flea bites or repairs. The goblet is clear with a beautiful fire. It is signed Steuben on the bottom across the pontil as shown. The price is for two.
It is regrettable that the Steuben factory and Manhattan retail store closed in September 2011 after a 103 year history of making world-class crystal.
