Game pins are cleaned using a Q-tip and 91% rubbing alcohol. Game is inserted into an original Nintendo brand SNES system and powered on. We go through the menus until we either hit a "password" option, which indicates there is no battery inside the cartridge, or we see a previously saved game that we can load, which tells us the batter is still good. Enjoy!
