Hood is in  very good condition. And it works good. Item has been used with signs of cosmetic use - it may have some scratches from normal use, rubber might be faded. But it is not damaged in any way (see pics). This lens hood is fully operational and functions as intended.  I would rate it a 8, on a scale from 1 to 10
