Adapter is new and never been used.

You could use this reverse adapter to obtain close focus (macro) shoots with any lens that has 55mm rim (such as Canon SC 50mm f/1.4 or f1.8)

This adapter allows you reversely attach a 55mm filter threaded with your Canon EOS R mirrorless (it will not fit Canon EOS M or EF series SLR cameras) digital cameras. But, automatic diaphragm, auto-focus or any other automatic feature will not operate while using this adapter. This is an all manual adapter. 

You only can focus in manual mode only. Aperture could be controlled on the lens itself (if it has aperture ring only).
