Vintage Painted Wooden Recipe Box with Hinged Lid
Golden Oak with dovetail corners painted avocado green with an old label on front that reads RECIPES Imperial Methods Co. Chicago. The Chicago part is mostly illegible. It has a hinged lid that flips all the way back and can be used to hold the recipe card for viewing.
Over 150 recipe cards, handwritten, typed, cut out of magazines and some with pictures of the finished product. When you read the cards and menus it gives you a sense of the couples that had dinners and brunches most likely in Hawaii. Wonderful ephemera from the late 60's early 70s.
