Dr. Swift Quack Doctor/Medicine Advertising.
In the 1800's it was assumed as much as 1/4 of all women has "hysteria". No doubt as there was a 75 page book of vague symptoms. Headache? tired? irritability yep you got it.
The Dr. had to perform a pelvic massage / orgasm.
This was printed on thicker paper by Key Publishing around the 1960's at oldest. Someone then mounted it on wood.
Key Publishing made this one and another titles "Fat" about tapeworm. Many sellers incorrectly label these Key Publishing Posters as original 1800's. Not sure if there was a "Dr Swift" or this is a fantasy piece representative of the era.
