It is the type that can hold the very wide candles in the largest slot or the medium size ones in the underneath one. 

tiny flea bite chip on one corner of base and 1 under top ring (flea bite size so I had to really look) - I do want to add I may have missed a flea bite here or there but it is in lovely condition
