While having a fairly sinister past with its powerful sedative and poisonous properties, the shiny black berries are a source of atropine, used in the treatment of eye disease and muscle spasms. Belladonna has a rich and varied history and folklore.
Germination Instructions:
Belladonna germinates sporadically, usually between 10-30 days. Plant seeds in warm soil (between 70 and 80 degrees). Barely cover and keep moist but not soggy. Poisonous - do not take internally
