A product of the KNAPP MONARCH CO., Belleville, IL, it was designed to quickly & efficiently slice any variety of fruits or vegetables. Sliding top plate(5" x 3 5/8") with metal teethmoves smoothly back & forth to push food item through slicing blade. Top partlifts for easy placement of food item cleaning. Fimrly attached metal handles on top & bottom for ease of use. Marked: "PATS. S&JETY(?) PEND/VEG. GRATER/KNAPP MONARCHCO./BELLEVILLE, ILUSA" below tophandle. Some minorexpected age related surface/edge wear as shown in photos. There is also a little rust present see photos 7 and 8.
