~The First Noel~

Long, long ago, the Angel Gabriel tolef Mary that she would have a child and that the Holy Spirit would be the father of her baby. Her husband, Joseph, was told in-a dream by an Angel that the Baby should be named Jesus. Near the time that the Baby was to be born, Mary and Joseph had to travet to Bethlehem.

After a very long trip, Mary was very tiree and they tried to find a place to stay. The only place where they could find foom was in a manger with many animals. There, the Baby Jesus was born.

That night, some shepherds were watching their flocks of sheep when another Angel appeared and told them to go to Bethlehem to see a very special baby who had just been born there. The Angel told them that the Baby Jesus was the Messiah, the Son of the lord.

At the some time, a glowing star appeared in the sky. It was seen by Three Kings or Wise Men, known as Magi, and they followed its special light all the way to Bethlehem. In Bethlehem, the shepherds and the Magi found the Baby Jesus in the manger with Mary and Joseph.

Exeryone in the manger was happy to see the Son of God. The Three Kings gave the Baby special gifts of frankincense and myrrh (rare and.costly ingredients used in incense and holy oil) and gold, and all the Angels sang songs of happiness.

TO ASSEMBLE STABLE: slide the slots on the side panels into the slots on the back panel. Be sure that the interior views of the stable are facing each other. Stand the assembled unit upright and align the slots in the roof panel, dark side facing up, over the tabs in the side panels and press down to lock into position.
