Offered is this antique Chinese terracotta red dragon cane stand / umbrella holder or floor vase.  It features a beautiful and unique raised panel design with red dragon medallions and Greek key accents on the lower and upper edges. It is signed on the bottom with an impressed mark (see images). The stand measures 23 1/4" tall and 8 1/4" in diameter and is perfect for displaying umbrellas, canes or florals. We estimated to be from the 1850-1899 era and it is in remarkable condition with one tiny nip on the inner edge (see images) which looks to be from the time of manufacture with no cracks, chips or repairs with minimal antique wear. A lovely piece for those who appreciate unique and beautiful Chinese art pieces. All images were taken in bright sunlight and the actual color is deeper when observed under indoor lighting.
