Vacuuming can be done from time to time to remove dust and loose hair. In case of any spillage on the hide, wiping with a wet cloth should do the job. In case of very humid environments, it is recommended to lay the hide out in the sun once or twice a month.A cowhide rug is a byproduct of the meat industry. No cow is harvested solely for the hide so by trading in cowhides we are only making use of secondary part of an animal that was raised for its meat. Our African animal skins are also taken legally and imported with all necessary documentation. These are 100% natural. Differences in the structure are due to leather’s natural finish and should be regarded as a quality and authentic feature.
Size, Grade & Color Options Available
GRADE A
Our grade A skins might present small imperfections but to a minimal. Skins may or may not come with the little tails. All skins are very well tanned and soft.
GRADE B
Our B grade hides have 2 to 4 visible little blesmishes or bald spots. For that reason they are sold at a steep discount :-) Even B grade hides are well tanned and soft.
