This old cardboard fan was printed by Geiger Bros, Newark NJ. The scene on the front is titled The Classroom, 137 © G. B. It is marked on the back: Donated to the Church by I Coffman, Longdale Okla. This was apparently a hardware store of some sort. At the very top it has a personal inscription where it was gifted to someone with the last name McCoy by a Mrs. Susie Brown. Best guess as to age is circa 1930s - 1940s,
The graphics on the front have faded, but would still display well. The handle is reinforced cardboard. It does has wear along the edges, with some wrinkles and small tears, as well as some light foxing. It measures approximately 7 1/2 inches wide at the widest point, and 9 3/4 inches at the longest point.
It would make a great addition to any collection of advertising memorabilia.
