This is a previously viewed DVD of the rare Christmas classic THE BOAR'S HEAD & YULE LOG FESTIVAL 2001 - Presented by Christ Church Cathedral of the city of Cincinnati.

The Boar's Head and Yule Log Festival dates back 600 years to 1340 to Queen's College in Oxford, England. Legend has it that a medieval scholar, lost in study while walking in the forest, was attacked by a boar. He slew the beast with the only weapon at hand, a thick, metal-studded philosophy book, and bore the beast's head back to the college for a triumphal procession. The pageant came to symbolize the light of the Christ child coming into the world. It is a treasured Episcopal tradition that never fails to move the hearts. and touch the souls of all who see and hear it.
