Amino Acids Test
Amino acids are organic compounds that serve as the building blocks of proteins. Amino acids play a crucial role in the human body. They are not only responsible for building proteins, but also support many important processes such as transporting nutrients, forming hormones and enzymes, and strengthening the immune system. Some amino acids are essential and must be ingested through food because the body cannot produce them itself.
The different combinations and sequences of amino acids determine the structure and function of a protein. This diversity enables proteins to perform a wide range of tasks in the body.
The cerascreen Amino Acids Test is a sampling and mail-in test kit that determines 26 essential, semi-essential and non-essential amino acids in your blood. This analysis provides valuable insights into how you can specifically optimize your amino acid supply through diet and nutritional supplements.
To do this, you have to take a blood sample from the comfort of your own home. The sample taken is then professionally analyzed in a specialist medical laboratory. You will receive precise results within 12 to 14 days of receiving your sample.
The test focuses on the most relevant amino acids and offers you personalized recommendations for optimal protein intake. This individual advice can help you to adjust your diet and take in the amino acids you need.
