2024 Fresh lot.  Solanum pimpinellifolium, commonly known as the currant tomato, is a wild species of tomato native to Ecuador and Peru. It is an indeterminate. It produces small, sweet, cherry-like fruits that are typically 1/4 inch in diameter.

This tomato has exceptional resistance to common tomato diseases and it is one of the varieties that breeders commonly use in their crosses because of this. Some say the tomato varieties today all originated from this plant.
