Unique, large vintage stoneware type material, I really don't know, black USA stamped bottom, lidded brown spatterware crock in the picture. Very nice shape with a few chips on the inside of the lid rim as seen, otherwise, very little wear. About 5 1/4 inches tall and 7 inches wide. Neat old piece.
