This beautiful blue art glass pedestal compote bowl is in the Epic Bluenique pattern by Viking (originally New Martinsville) Glass.  It would have been produced in the mid to late 20th century circa 1940s - 1970s.  This one has 6 scalloped petal edges.  It stands approximately 4 inches tall at the tallest point, and measures approximately 7 inches across.  It would be georgous in a bathroom holding small soaps, on a dresser to hold small jewelry and hair accessory items, or simply display it alone.  It would be beautiful no matter what.
