This is a vintage 8 ounce glass featuring Desperate Lady, the famous harness racing horse. The front side of the glass has "Desperate Lady" and a harness racing pair below it. The back side has "Quad City Downs" and its logo; above, it states, "Illinois Horse of the Year, 1983" & "Lifetime Best 1:55.4." All the writing is in red. The rim of the glass is gold and the bottom is "bumpy," which means it has some circles on the bottom that give it a bumpy feel and appearance.

There is an interesting manufacturing oddity in this glass -- the bottom of the glass has some solid glass before the bumps on the bottom. In this area there is what appears to be a black fleck floating in the glass (I have tried to capture it in the pictures -- see pictures). The glass is in nice shape with minor wear - there are no chips, cracks, or other damages. May need minor touch-up cleaning. Nice overall.
