This Door Strike is an OEM replacement part used in some Frigidaire washing machines. The Door strike is responsible for latching the washer door shut during a cycle.

The door strike works by catching onto the door latch assembly and holding the door securely closed during a wash cycle. If the door strike is damaged or worn, the washer may not start or may stop mid-cycle, as the door will not be latched properly.
