For your consideration is a vintage 1975 Dakin plush stuffed hugging monkey.  This has Velcro on the hands for hugging.  This is the girl monkey and she has her eyes closed as if blushing or enjoying the hug.  She is 11" tall.  Purchased many years ago and sitting on a shelf since.
