Unavoidably located on N. Lombard Street and basically heralding the east entry to the ancient North Portland blue collar neighborhood of St. Johns, Pype's has been proudly squatting in their ramshackle white storefront/home for what seems to be "forever!" Remarkably, with the legalization of pot in Oregon the times have finally caught up with Pype's and they are now actually a mainstream business! But it was not always that way, for sure.
