2Mm Stainless Steel Oversize Actuator For Hori Hayabusa Joystick Otto Diy UpdateThe oversize actuators are manufactured from hard wearing Stainless Steel and is intended to be used as replacement actuators on the Sanwa JLF series of joysticks. Once fitted, you will benefit from a shorter throw and faster engagement of your joystick, which will result in improved gameplay. The oversize actuator is ideal for fight stick builders and those customers who like modding fight sticks for improved performance. The oversize actuator has been tested with square and octagonal restrictor plates and engages the stock switches on the Sanwa JLF series of joysticks consistently. Installation: 1. Take your JLF series joystick and using a small flat head screwdriver, gently prise off the C Clip on the bottom of the joystick. 2 Lift off the stock actuator. Replace this with the oversize actuator and gently push down. 3 Using a small pair of pliers, gently grip the C Clip and with a gentle squeeze, the C Clip will snap back into place. IMPORTANT: Don't use the OTTO DIY actuators on optical levers. Minimize the activation One of the most common mods is the change of the Sanwa Denshi and / or Hori Hayabusa actuators, users seek to minimize the activation distance between the mic and the actuator (this is known as swing) this helps to have less demanding markings . The first commercial actuators in the mods turn were the 1mm ones, OTTO DIY can present in some versions the 12mm sizes, which would be the 1mm one, this is because the original actuator has a radius of 11mm and when adding 1mm it would be 12mm, that is why it is called 1mm or 12mm actuators. So on with the 12.5mm actuators that would be 1.5mm or 13mm that would be 2mm. Product Features
