Sidney Fox was an American stage and film actress in the late 1920s and 1930s. Fox's Hollywood film debut was in Universal Pictures 1931 production Bad Sister, which is notable for also being the first film of actress Bette Davis. Known for Murders in the Rue Morgue (1932), Bad Sister (1931), Midnight (1934), Once in a Lifetime (1932), Strictly Dishonorable (1931), Afraid to Talk (1932), The Mouthpiece (1932), Down to Their Last Yacht (1934), School for Girls (1935), Six Cylinder Love (1931), Don Quixote (1933), and others. Jack Pearl was an American vaudeville performer and a star of early radio. He was best known for his character Baron Munchausen on The Ziegfeld Follies of the Air in 1932. His creation was loosely based on the Baron Munchausen literary character.
