This is a wine glass commemorating the 1960 Winter Olympics, which was held in Squaw Valley, California, USA. It measures approximately 6.25 inches tall, approximately 2.5 inches across at its base, and approximately 2.25 inches across at its mouth. It holds approximately 8 ounces of liquid. The rim of the glass and the markings are gold.
The glass is in nice shape with minor wear - there are no chips, cracks, or other damages. There is a small line of tiny black dots right underneath the rim on the side opposite from the writing/rings. It is possibly a manufacturing defect because I cannot feel it and it will not come off (it kind of looks like a smudge - see close up picture). May need minor touch-up cleaning before use. Nice overall.
