Just A Stone's Throw From Tokyo: A Pictorial Story of the 15th U.S. Naval Construction Battalion's Second tour of Duty in the Pacific, compiled and edited by Howard A. Friedman, art by Berger S. Fagenstrom, photography by Howard A. Friedman and Merritt D. Hadley

Hardcover book, 126 pages + several fold-out pages at the end of the book (see pictures)

This item is a yearbook of sorts, chronicling the activities of the 15th. There are many pictures, a roster of the members, several group pictures of the members, and text describing certain pictures. A very interesting piece of history.

Fair condition. There is a split on the front cover where it attaches to the spine (see pictures); there is a small tear further up the spine as well. The front cover has some art in the bottom right corner; the art has a portion in the top right that has chipped off. The covers have some wear, some smudging, and a few small stains. The back of the book has several fold-out pictures of the sailors (there is one in the pictures for example); a couple of these pages have small bends in the corners. One of the fold-out pages is starting to become detached at the bottom (see picture).
