Vintage Victorian era styling statement brooch that presents as out-of-this-world-groovy. Cobalt blue glass sapphire cornflower (bachelor button) petals and stamens are mounted on tall prongs that look like tentacles reaching out to make contact with other inter-planetary beings. The pewter-like metal body is fashioned with leaves and stems in a paisley-like scroll work design. It really catches the light and flashes. Perfect Boho or hippie accessory for a big bling accent. Unmarked, but obviously well crafted. Seems to have had some repair and replacement work done. About 3" wide and 1.75" tall.  Safety pin clasp.
